Marking 81 Years of TNI, Danrem 083/Bdj Calls for Professional, Responsive and Adaptive Soldiers

Malang – Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan, S.Sos., M.M.S., M.Han., emphasized that the spirit of TNI PRIMA must be reflected in the quality of service and dedication to the nation and the people. He conveyed the message following the 81st TNI Anniversary Ceremony at Brawijaya Rampal Field, Malang City, Monday (October 5, 2026).

The ceremony was led by Commander of Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base, Air Vice Marshal TNI Reza R.R. Sastranegara, S.Sos., M.A.P., MNSS., and attended by representatives of the TNI, Polri, civil servants, and various components of the nation. In the message delivered by TNI Commander General TNI Agus Subiyanto, five characteristics of TNI PRIMA were emphasized: Professional, Responsive, Integrated, Modern, and Adaptive.

According to the Danrem, the PRIMA values are a requirement for every soldier to be able to respond to developments in the strategic environment and the increasingly complex nature of threats. Professionalism must go hand in hand with the ability to respond to public concerns and build synergy with the Polri, local governments, and all components of society.

“PRIMA must be evident in the performance of our duties. Soldiers must be professional, respond quickly to developments, be able to build synergy, master technology, and continuously adapt to change,” said Danrem.

As the TNI enters its 81st year, Danrem hopes that every soldier of Korem 083/Bdj will continue to improve their capabilities and dedication. Strong capabilities, he said, must always be accompanied by integrity and close ties with the people, who remain the TNI’s source of strength.  :::
